To many years….

“A wedding anniversary is the celebration of love, trust, partnership, tolerance and tenacity. The order varies for any given year.” Paul Sweeney

Last week on August 8th, Edy and I celebrated our 3rd civil wedding anniversary, this one was different, first because, we are not longer in Mexico, second we are now living alone, just the two of us, and 3rd I was feeling down, blue….

Farewell home sweet home.

“I’ve learned that fear limits you and your vision. It serves as blinders to what may be just a few steps down the road for you. The journey is valuable, but believing in your talents, your abilities, and your self-worth can empower you to walk down an even brighter path. Transforming fear into freedom – how great is that?”. Soledad O’Brien

It has been more than one month since my last post. Yes, it is me, Ana. Last June I kind of lost my writing inspiration, it did not feel good, so I stoped it, why?, I was sad, June and July were the last months with my beloved ones before our journey to Hamburg.

I searched a lot about it, the guilt, the doubt, the fear, the loneliness, the process to say farewell… did it work?… kind of, but if I should share an advice is that you must deal with it with the “tools” you have and talk to your loved ones.

It was hard, since June I had the opportunity to have a mini reunion with my former co workers and friends, I got awsome vibes for the upcoming adventure, and just there I realised that it was going to be really difficult for me, and on that weekend I lost my inspiration to write here… I got reserved and all I decided to do was to spend the time with my family and friends.

My family wished us the best and confirmed their support no matter what and reminded us that right there we have our home. I can’t express my gratitude to the love, the good wishes and the concern, all I can do is to do my best in this German land.

Queretaro, one last time this year

Our last weekend in Queretaro this year.

On Thursday, we traveled to Queretaro, a city in the State of … Queretaro, yes, it’s something Mexico has, lots of cities with the names of the state. We went to see Ana’s family, by her dad’s side. We got there right before lunch, which was perfect timing if you ask me, and avoided lots of traffic since a little bit latter it would have been rush our and we are not vey fond of rush hours in big cities. Today is a very important day in my career.

A couple months ago, I got a proposal from a new art institute in Mexico that is about to start, to be part of the team who will be doing online courses. Continue reading

The last one

This weekend I probably did my last job in Mexico.

With the final months before we depart, I didn’t want to do much, since I would’t have time to deliver any jobs I took, therefore I cancel my subscription to the wedding page so I wouldn’t get any more requests for weddings, stopped accepting the ones that came to me a few months ago that where going to take place after July the 15th.
